Dr Melissa Cahill at Myhealth Doctors Grand Plaza is an experienced provider of circumcision in the Brisbane south area.  She brings over 20 years of experience in the procedure to her practice at Doctors Grand Plaza located in the Grand Plaza Shopping Centre in Browns Plains.  Her practice provides access via the Gateway Motorway and Beaudesert Road to patients from the Gold Coast, Ipswich, Logan, the Scenic Rim and the southern suburbs of Brisbane.                                         

 Dr Cahill has been performing circumcisions and tongue ties since 1999.  Being a mother of four herself (two of them boys), helps her understand the concerns that mothers and fathers have in regards to their child and her ambition is to make the experience as comfortable as possible for all of the family. 

Your child's safety and comfort is paramount to her and her team. 

Her practice's motto is "We care about more than just the medicine".  This echoes her philosophy of treating people as individuals with care for their feelings and wellbeing as well as their medical conditions.

Brisbane born and bred, she graduated from the University of Queensland in 1994 and received her Fellowship of General Practice in 2000.  She trained in these procedure under the guidance of Dr Terry Russell from 1999 to 2001.  Dr Russell was a provider of circumcisions and tongue ties in the Brisbane area for over three decades.  On his retirement at the start of 2016, she was requested by Dr Russell to return to his practice at Russell Medical in Macgregor and worked there again for one session per week until 2019.  

Circumcision procedure is offered at Doctors Grand Plaza for baby boys up to 5 months old.
